everal years ago, Marie-Louise went up in an ultralight airplane. She took this picture of Le Cormier from an altitude, I'd guess, of less than several hundred feet. What a view! |
| And from even higher up there comes this image of Le Cormier. It was taken sometime in 2003 by an overhead satellite as construction was continuing. The far right end of the house (our bedroom) has no roof and the pond has been emptied (see the long trench leading to the rear fosse?) and is being reshaped. Our plum orchard is still hidden in the lower left of the image under a canopy of strangling, wild black berries. Finally, that little squarish design carved in the ground northeast of the house was my first attempt to locate our vegetable garden. The ground there was too hard so we moved the garden to be just behind the house. | ![]() |
