Dinner at Le Cormier

Since we started Le Cormier Bed and Breakfast, we have, on occasion and when asked, offered dinner to our guests. We have decided to formalize dinner at Le Cormier starting in the 2014 season.

We have two offerings: a light dinner for 25 Euros per person and an elegant four-course dinner for 40 Euros per person. Wine is extra and can be ordered from our wine list. We will offer dinners only as requested, so you must let us know several days in advance if you would like dinner. The photo above is our taco salad.

The light dinner will comprise either a large antipasti plate with cheeses, meats and pickled or brined veggetables (think olives, red peppers, artichoke hearts, pickled eggplant, etc.), fresh bread and dessert OR a composed salad on a bed of fresh, crisp lettuce with either seafood, mexican-style chicken (taco salad) or sliced duck breast, house dressing, bread and dessert. Dessert will be light, such as our home-made chocolate mousse. The light dinner will be served in your room or on your terrace.

The four-course dinner comprises an aperitif with our local bubbly, amuse bouches (a small something to bring the taste buds alive ...), appetizer, main course, cheese and salad plate and dessert. The dishes, served with fresh baguette as appropriate, are tasty and attractive. For example, seen above, is our rabbit rillettes dish, served in crusty phyllo with orange slices, olive and red bell pepper bits and a light rabbit sauce. Each of these courses is plated and served separately in our dining room. Dinner may be served starting around 6:30PM but not later than 7:30PM.

We use only the freshest fruits and vegetables, mostly from our garden, in our preparations. We use fresh herbs from our own herb garden.
